From Mardi Gras, to food tastings, to wing nights, we have found a wide variety of events that a must sees this week.

Tuesday, March 5

Mardi Gras Party | Bon Ton | 12:00 pm – 12: 00 am

Get a taste of Bourbon Street this Mardi Gras, without having to leave Atlanta! On March 5th, from noon to midnight, come decked out in your best Mardi Gras costume and try to win a trip to NOLA. If a costume isn’t your thing, you can still enjoy $5 crawfish, boozy snowballs, Abita Jockey Box drinks, and DJ Ree De La Vega spinning tracks all night long. Drinking for a good cause? A portion of the $3 Jell-o Shots will be donated to The Giving Kitchen. Celebrate Mardi Gras like you never have before!

Burger Night | Haven Restaurant | 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Chef Stephen Herman brings burger night to Brookhaven every Tuesday evening. Join Haven on Tuesdays and enjoy a gourmet burger (topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and cheddar cheese) and fries paired with a glass of wine or beer for $18.00 or $25.00 to pair your meal with a premium wine pairing. This new to you food event would be perfect for a little night out this week with friends.

Wednesday, March 6

Flavor Tripping | {three} sheets | 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

{three} sheets in Sandy Springs invites you to experience this mind-blowing fruit by hosting a series of “flavor tripping” parties. Guests will be able to test the berry and enjoy a selection of items that complement the Miracle Fruit. The Miracle Fruit supposedly “rewires” your palette and foods that are normally acidic now become sweet. Enjoying things such as lemons or cottage cheese can now be as enjoyable as biting into a piece of chocolate. Challenge yourself to try something new and go “tripping”.

Wings & Whiskey | Odyssey Lounge | 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm

This event is for all of our 21+ friends out there! Enjoy 75¢ wings with $3 beers while also listening to some of the best music around. Take a round playing dominoes or UNO while enjoying $8 premium drinks of $15 hookahs. There is also sports entertainment coverage on all ten TVs found within the lounge. Come out and sip your beer with the boys while chowing down on some of the best wings in Atlanta. At 75¢ each wing, it can not be beat for a better price or a better time than at Odyssey Lounge!

Thursday, March 7

Meet Dan Panella | The Savvy Cellars | 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm 

We are so happy to host Dan Panella, owner and winemaker from Oak Farm Vineyards, and taste his fabulous small batch wines! The Panella family arrived in California’s Lodi region in 1936, and later purchased “Oak Farm” in 2004. Dan Panella, a third-generation California farmer undertook the task of replanting the property’s 60 acres of vineyards in 2012. He leads a talented team of agricultural specialists who have built a diverse portfolio of wines made from estate fruit and selectively sourced grapes. The results are wines that are very good and great values– perfect for any day of the week!

Friday, March 8

Taste of the Town | Payne-Corley House | 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm 

Join the sisters of the Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority for their 21+ event. The Taste of the Town includes: delicious and tantalizing bites from all participating chefs and restaurants, live demonstrations, live entertainment, silent auction, and a custom designed souvenir keepsake. All proceeds will benefit GCAC’s scholarships, community programs and initiatives. This event will be held at the historic Payne-Corley House.

Saturday, March 9

Sausage Making Class | Pine Street Market | 10:00 am – 1:00 pm 

Come join Rusty & crew for a hands-on sausage-making workshop as they explain a variety of grinding, casing and cooking methods. Participants take home two pounds of their own sausage creation. This class runs from 10 – 1 and includes a lunch of beer braised bratwurst, country sides, and beverages. Sausage Class attendees will take home 2 pounds of their own hand made sausage. $125/ Person. Classes are held at Pine Street Market. Refunds are not available for missed classes.

B.Y.O.M Yoga | Gate City Brewing Company | 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Get an hour of yoga and a pint after! Gate City Brewing Company is bringing in a licensed instructor to help you relax after a long week. All you need to do is bring your own mat, water, and towel! They will supply the beer after as a reward. Spots are limited so get signed up today! This event is one that will surely brighten up your Saturday after a stressful week.

Sunday, March 10

Rum Punch Brunch | the Sound Table | 12:30 pm – 8:00 pm 

They will be eaturing music across cultures, exotic Caribbean food, and endless Rum punch! Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Early arrival recommended. Their family-style format is ideal for meeting up with friends and making new ones. We also ensure that the music is well rounded and soulful, our DJs never play it too safe! In case you are familiar, this is a Rockers Unltd Experience. New to Caribbean food? Not a problem, let us expand your food horizons with our colorful menu.
