If you’re intrigued by the idea of fermentation, probiotics, and learning the ins and outs of the process, this workshop is the perfect place to start!

In this hands-on experience that integrates both education and a make-and-take activity for each participant featuring fermented vegetables, Jayshree Subramanian will teach the concepts and processes behind the age-old technique of how to ferment foods. Jayshree has distilled the process into easy to follow guidelines, and the workshop is tailored to be a fun activity that gives participants the necessary experience to make their own “probiotics” at home, a life-long tool for personal health and wellness.

Participants will need to bring:
Cutting board
Kitchen knife suitable for vegetable chopping
Long wooden spoon
Large mixing bowl

The Fine Print

Supply fee includes organic vegetables for fermentation, organic herbs and 32 oz glass Mason jar. Pre-registration is required.
