SOME FAVORITES: We’ll begin with Tincup, a sourced whiskey that’s bottled at Stranahan’s Distillery in Denver, and W.L. Weller Special Reserve made a Buffalo Trace Distillery. Now it’s time for our 3 ‘all-rounder style’ bourbons: Elmer T. Lee (90-proof), J.W. Kelly (94-proof) and Henry McKenna (100-proof). As it’s a single barrel, 10-year-old, 100-proof Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon (a higher accreditation than Straight Bourbon) that sells for $30, Henry McKenna BIB may be the best bargain in the Bourbon category. We will finish with Roaming Man, a barrel-proof TN Straight Rye, which is new to our market. The recommended retail price (RRP) for Roaming Man is $50.00 for a 375ml bottle. It is a sweet and powerful rye in the digestif style that’s ideal as a desert-in-a-glass. So, do please join us on Thursday at FREIGHT and do bring a friend.
