winter festival AtlantaDecember starts off with a bang! Two great events right at the beginning of the month. Wrecking Bar Strong Beer Festival – all brews over 8%ABV and many can only be found here! Also the month long Atlanta Christkindl Market put on by the German American Cultural Foundation. This is a wonderful, free entrance event for the whole family! Immerse yourself in the German culture, as you try authentic food and shop for unique handcrafted items for friends and family. That’s not all this month, there are four pub crawls to choose from. All themed with dressing up strongly encouraged, so pick one or two or three, and get out for a fun night with friends while helping to support various causes along the way.

January

Start off the new year in style, as you take sips during the 15th Annual Atlanta Cask Ale Fest. Here the beer lover will find 50+ rare cask-conditioned ales from the US and UK. Did December fly by and you didn’t make it to any pub crawls? No worries, this month, get snuggly with the Onesie Bar Crawl. Finally, finish off the month with delicious shellfish at Smyrna’s 7th Annual Oysterfest.

Bring your beads, dress up with masks and great outfits and join your friends for a little slice of the Big Easy right here in Atlanta. Mardi Gras not your scene?
