Monday, September 3

Brunch for Labor Day | PARISH: The Brasserie and Neighborhood Cafe | 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Before Labor Day festivities commence, brunch lovers can fill up at PARISH: The Brasserie and Neighborhood Café with Executive Chavez Hernandez’s popular brunch menu.  Serving brunch for an extra day on Monday, September 3rd in honor of the long weekend, hungry diners can nosh on PARISH’s staple brunch favorites.

Rise, Shine, and Brunch | TWO Urban Licks | 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

Hop off the Atlanta BeltLine and hang with New Amsterdam Brewing Company and Wicked Weed Craft Beer on TWO’s expansive patio from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Patrons can sip on $10 cocktails and $7 beers, while enjoying acclaimed Executive Chef Michael Bertozzi’s fiery, brunch creations including his signature Salmon Chips, Brisket Hash, Southwestern Benedict, Pimento Cheese BLT and more.

WRFG Labor Day Blues Barbacue | Park Tavern | 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm

A fundraiser for non-commercial, community radio station, WRFG. To be held at Park Tavern, 500 10th St. (Midtown), Atlanta, GA on Monday, September 3, 2018 (Labor Day). Featuring musical performances from 19-time Blues Music Award nominee John Nemeth, 21 year-old traditional blues prodigy Jontavious Willis, the energetic Mudbone Turner Blues Band with L’Tanya “Sugarlips” Shields, and Atlanta harmonica master Dr. Dixon, Bh.D, “The Blues Physician.” This year’s event is dedicated to Blind Willies blues club and their longtime house band, The Shadows, who will also perform. Both are celebrating 32 years of entertaining Georgia blues lovers. Food and drink available for purchase.

Saborea Atlanta | Ser Familia | 7:00 pm

A unique event opening Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations featuring over a dozen local Latin American Chefs crafting special selections representative of our love for food, color and culture. Your ticket provides unlimited tastes of the different stations manned by culinary experts and community advocates. Hostess extraordinaire, Chef Paula, will teach you how to create an unforgettable gourmet meal showcasing fresh seasonal flavors, essential techniques and hot takes on classic sides. Learn the secret to perfectly seared steak, homemade vinaigrettes, compound butters that you’ll want to slather on everything, plus a decadent twist on chocolate cake. Steak night will never be the same! You will first be met with a reception wine and light appetizers. You’ll have a striking view of our impressive open demonstration kitchen. Que For Good”, enables the Rotary Club of Dunwoody to support our local community as well as provide aid to global beneficiaries. The majority of funds raised at this event will go towards our efforts in the local community that support Education and First Responders. Expect Pork, Ribs, chicken, and wings in large quantities and a variety of tastes and flavors from 60 professional and local teams competing for the prize of BEST BARBECUE IN DUNWOODY! $15, 000 PRIZE MONEY FOR THE WINNERS! Winners will be selected and prizes awarded last day.

Food Truck Friday | Duluth Town Green | 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Enjoy exotic flavors in a mobile vending setting with amazing cuisine at Duluth’s Fridays-N-Duluth. Food Truck Friday will take place every Friday from 6-9PM, May through September alongside Fridays-N-Duluth. Enjoy a night filled with live music, Food Trucks, entertainment and more!

Saturday, September 8

Demonstration Class – Brisket, Tri Tip, and Burnt Ends! | Big Green Egg | 6: 30 pm – 8:30 pm

Come learn about prime, grass-raised, grain-finished beef from a true beef expert! Paul Stanley, from Harris Ranch Beef Company, will spend the evening talking brisket and tri-tip, and the best way to cook them on the Big Green Egg. This class has everything you are looking for, from selecting and trimming the perfect brisket, to creating the perfect rub, to smoking the beef in the EGG! Menu includes: Texas brisket – salt, pepper and smoke; Brisket Momofuku-style (with Chinese 5 spice); Tri-Tip with Santa Maria bourbon peach glaze; Burnt ends – meat candy; and delicious sides including brisket mac and cheese!
