It is time for the season of love, Valentine’s Day. We know that you are hoping that you will be able to spend the day with your special someone. However, everyone is busy, so you may not be able to spend Valentine’s Day on the actual day. That’s why we have provide a list of events for the week of Valentine’s. So if you have to wait till Saturday to celebrate this lovely holiday, you have some choices to choose from. We hope that everyone has a great week and Happy Valentine’s Day.
Tuesday, February 13
Mardi Gra on the Square | Colony Square | 11:30 am – 2:00 pm
In honor of Fat Tuesday, Midtown Atlanta’s Colony Square invites the community to experience a lunchtime Mardi Gras celebration on Tuesday, Feb. 13, complete with live brass musical performances, authentic New Orleans-style food and drinks, and a sea of purple, green and gold beads.
Wednesday, February 14
Valentine’s Day | Meehan’s Public House | 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Grab your sweetheart and join Meehan’s Public House in Vinings for a romantic Valentine’s Day date! Couples will enjoy two entrées, a dessert, and a white table cloth dinner complete with flowers, candles and balloons. Reservations must be made by 7 pm.
A Valentine’s Day Dinner | STK Atlanta | 5:30 pm
Guests yearning for a night on the town this Valentine’s Day can head to STK Atlanta in the heart of the Midtown for an unforgettable evening on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Lovebirds are invited to celebrate with a special menu created by Executive Chef Andrea Montobbio along with STK’s selection of hand-selected champagnes. STK’s full dinner menu featuring reimagined American cuisine and, of course, and the highest quality steak, will also be available.
Cozy Up This Valentine’s Day | TWO | 5:30 pm
This Valentine’s Day, friends and lovers can enjoy libations, music and Executive Chef Michael Bertozzi’s seasonal a la carte menu in addition to seasonal specials meant for sharing created just for the occasion. While noshing on Bertozzi’s mouth-watering dishes, guests can also cozy up and enjoy the smooth sounds of “Little G Weevil” performing live while taking in TWO’s exceptional skyline views. We will be tasting 4 artisan wines and weather permitting, we will launch some wish lanterns carrying our 2018 aspirations out into the universe. Ba Pinot Cadence Release | Reformation Brewery | 5:00 pm
Get the gift that everybody loves this Valentine’s Day: beer. Reformation Brewery will debut a limited release Pinot Noir Barrel Aged Cadence on Friday, February 16 at Reformation’s Keeping Room. This beer is perfect for all beer and wine lovers combined, with a prominent red wine character and dry finish with moderate caramel sweetness. The beer, which has been barrel aged in Pinot Noir barrels for nine months, will be available in bottles in Reformation’s Keeping Room from Friday, February 16, until supplies last. This special release can be reserved in advance for pick up on launch day, or can be picked up at the brewery a la carte.

Sausage Making Class | Pine Street Market | 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Come join Rusty & crew for a hands on sausage-making workshop as they explain a variety of grinding, casing and cooking methods. Participants take home two pounds of their own sausage creation. This class runs from 10 – 1 and includes a lunch of beer braised bratwurst, country sides, and beverages. Sausage Class attendees will take home 2 pounds of their own hand made sausage. Classes are held at Pine Street Market. Refunds are not available for missed classes.
Taping of the Radio Show – Chef and the Fat Man | Big Green Egg | 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Join the “Fat Man” Kevin Jenkins and Chef Amanda Egidio as they tape the radio show Chef and the Fat Man! No tickets are needed for this event … just drop in and enjoy some tasty treats – right off the EGG. We’ll be sharing tips and tricks on how to use your EGG and of course, we’ll include recipes for you to take home and try yourself! Chef and the Fat Man is streamed around the world on 50,000 watt NewsTalk 1160, the “Talk of the Town,” Sundays from 2 – 4 pm (EST). Also available on Podbean.
The Big Night Cooking Class | Cibo e Beve | 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Spend an afternoon cooking Timpano, Big Night style! In this cooking class, learn to make the famous timpano from the Campbell Scott and Stanley Tucci film “The Big Night”. Chef Linda will walk students through this Italian baked pasta dish in an interactive class on Saturday, February 17th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Tickets include the cooking lesson, timpano for two, and two glasses of house wine or prosecco.
Flavor Excursions | Hopeton Hibbert | 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Flavor Excursions is back in 2018, Valentines weekend with a celebration of the Rabbit. With the rebirth of another year, we will be serving a five-course dinner with libation pairings centered around the sweet deliciousness that is the bunny. Join us Saturday, February 17th as we set off the new year with our 26th dinner. The menu will consist of five courses. Course 1 has rillet with smoked heart, kidney, and shaved pickled carrot. Course 2 contains rabbit egg in braised nest of leg over buttered toast. Course 3 has ravioli of Kabocha squash, rabbit, and cranberry with local sorrel sauce. Course 4 consists of serrano ham wrapped saddle over elephant garlic confit and local kale. And finally, course 5 will have rabbit liver mousse eclairs with chocolate balsamic.
