Monday, June 4
Cooking with Les Dames D’escoffier | The Cook’s Warehouse | 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Come join members of the Atlanta Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI) as we say goodbye to spring and hello to summer. LDEI has also been a long-time friend of the Food Bank, and we welcome them back to Simple Abundance for a special evening of food, fun, education and entertainment led and taught by a wonderful group of seven talented female chefs! The menu the chefs will demonstrate will be an ode to all things local and seasonal in the South. We’ll begin with a refreshing Strawberry cocktail and scrumptious cheese course; both of which you can easily prepare at home and impress your friends. You’ll learn simple techniques for mastering a delicious meal utilizing fresh, lo.
Negroni Week Kick Off Party | Ponce City Market | 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Kick off Negroni Week with Bellina Alimentari for the third year in a row! Leave the stresses of the day at the door and treat yourself to their refreshing take on the classic three-ingredient cocktail. The party begins at 6 PM with live DJ grooves from Atlanta’s own DJ Cozy Shawn. No reservation required.

Free Wine Tasting | Under the Cork Tree | 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Under the Cork Tree hosts new producers and representatives of great wineries every Thursday in the lounge! Come in anytime between 5-7 PM to taste different types of wine and learn about their history. Full service for snacks or dinner are available if you are interested and retail purchases of the select wine are encouraged as well!

Demonstration Class – High Class Butcher and Brew | Big Green Egg | 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
A great meal starts with great ingredients and ends on the Big Green Egg! Chef Phillip Spencer of Farm’d spends his days visiting with farmers and chefs and knows how important sourcing the right product is, from the best quality meats to the freshest produce. This class will be all about how to butcher whole hog, chicken and fish so that you, too, can take your cooking experience to the next level. Along with the butchering demo, Chef Phillip will prepare a fantastic meal for you to enjoy during the demonstration. From the Earth Brewery leads the second portion of this evening with a beer tasting, as well as how to pair their beers with the amazing meal we are going to cook on the Big Green Egg.
